Route 30 and Route 222 bridges over Route 30 will close starting in the evening May 10 through the early morning May 13. 

PennDOT is planning to close the roads and put detours in place for the Route30/Route 222 Interchange Improvement Project. 

The closures are weather permitting. Backup dates for the closures are the following weekend, May 17-20. 

Route 30 and Route 222 bridges over Route 30 will close from 9:00 pm Friday, May 10 to 5:00 am Monday, May 13. 

According to PennDOT, detours will be in place. 

The agency is asking drivers to plan ahead because delays are likely. According to PennDOT, drivers can expect detour routes using Duke Street, Chestnut Street, Lititz Pike and more. 

To prepare for the closure, the southbound Route 222 bridge to eastbound Route 30 is now closed, with traffic redirected.
