Description

This specialized Commercial Vehicle Inspection course is designed for managers seeking a solid foundation in vehicle safety compliance and inspection standards. The curriculum provides a clear understanding of FMCSA and DOT regulations, inspection procedures, vehicle classifications, and system-specific checks, including brakes, suspension, engine components, and cargo securement. Fleet managers will learn how to effectively oversee pre-trip, post-trip, and annual inspections, identify common out-of-service violations, and implement sound maintenance and recordkeeping practices. Emphasis is placed on recognizing inspection trends and preventing violations that lead to downtime, enforcement actions, and increased risk exposure.
