CMV Equipment Inspections Workshop

Develop the knowledge and confidence to conduct thorough, compliant commercial motor vehicle (CMV) inspections with this hands-on course focused on the inspection requirements outlined in 49 CFR Part 396. Participants will learn how to perform effective pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections that improve safety, reduce out-of-service violations, and support a proactive maintenance program.

Rather than simply reviewing inspection checklists, this course explains the purpose behind the regulations and provides a practical, repeatable inspection process that can be applied every day.

This discussion-based course combines regulatory guidance with practical application to help participants build confidence in performing compliant vehicle inspections. Attendees will leave with a stronger understanding of inspection requirements, improved defect identification skills, and a systematic approach they can immediately implement within their organization.
