The Pennsylvania Motor Truck Association (PMTA) is pleased to announce the addition of two key professionals to our team this week, reinforcing our commitment to safety, advocacy, and member support.

Anthony Cloud – Director of Safety and Education
Anthony Cloud joined PMTA as our new Director of Safety and Education. With a strong background in safety and risk management, Anthony brings years of experience to the role. A former police officer, he transitioned into the transportation industry, spending six years in the safety department at JB Hunt before serving as Safety Manager at NAPA Transportation. Most recently, he was the Safety Director at RC Moore, where he played a pivotal role in enhancing safety protocols and compliance.

Outside of work, Anthony is a dedicated family man, happily married with a 10-year-old son. He is passionate about cycling and enjoys exploring new trails in his spare time.

Brian A. Rider – Advocacy Manager
Brian A. Rider joined PMTA as our new Advocacy Manager. With more than 30 years of government relations experience in Harrisburg, Brian brings a deep understanding of transportation policy, taxation, and general business issues. He will work closely with PMTA members and its contract lobbying firm, members of the Pennsylvania General Assembly, the Governor’s office, and various state agencies to advance policies that support the trucking industry in Pennsylvania.

“We are thrilled to have Brian join the PMTA team,” said Oyler. “His experience and relationships in Harrisburg will be instrumental in advocating for our industry and ensuring that our members’ voices are heard.”
