All PMTA members are invited to attend the Safety Management Council (SMC) Meetings. After the SMC Board of Directors meets and covers their agenda, a speaker will present on a relevant topic.

THE TDC MEETING IS BEFORE THE SMC MEETING THIS MONTH

There are two speakers scheduled for this weeks SMC meeting:

1)  John Banghoff, is a Lead Meteorologist at the National Weather Service in State College, PA, where he has worked since 2018. John is heavily involved with snow squall education and research, helping implement Snow Squall Awareness Week held each November and assisting with the design of a state-of-the-art snow squall driving simulation. John enjoys fostering relationships with partner agencies across Pennsylvania and ensuring that NWS forecasts and services are exceptional. Outside of work, John enjoys mowing grass, eating ice cream, and spending time with his 3 year old daughter Aurora and wife Danielle. 

2) Stephen Buckley, along with representatives from PENNDOT's Office of Transformational Technology will provide information and request feedback on the Freight Signal Priority SMART grant
