PMTA recognizes the best truck drivers in the state at an annual banquet for companies, drivers and their families. 

The 12 Drivers of the Month are selected by the PMTA Safety Management Council (SMC) Awards Subcommittee using their driving record, award history and examples of leadership, excellence or bravery on the job. The 12 drivers are then submitted to the Pennsylvania State Police to select a Driver of the Year.
