Join PMTA and ATA for a day of advocacy on Capitol Hill! 

This is an incredible opportunity to meet the people who represent you at the federal level and learn about the bills that could impact the trucking industry. 

ATA will set attendees up with a day of meetings on Capitol Hill. You will have direct face time with Congressmen and women to share stories on topics like:

  • Electric Truck Mandates
  • Lawsuit Abuse
  • Truck Parking Shortage
  • Workforce Issues

TENTATIVE Agenda

Tuesday, September 2

3:00 pm

Issue briefing and reception at ATA Headquarters

- ATA lobbyists will ensure you are well prepared to talk about the issues the next day.


Following Reception

Dinner 

- Join PMTA staff for dinner and drinks 

Wednesday, September 3

8:00 am

Breakfast

- ATA hosts breakfast at their Capitol Hill Office, 430 First Street, SE, Suite 100


9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Meetings with Legislators

- ATA schedules a day of meetings with lawmakers. Each time we walk in an office we get to share the importance of trucking and discuss issues that matter to the trucking industry and PMTA members. It is a priceless experience.
